My wife and I have just arrived back from a fantastic weekend away at Ushuaia Ibiza. What can I say? What an amazing experience!
We were originally looking for a quiet weekend away without the children and we had not heard of Ushuaia before Nikki recommended us heading there.
We stayed in the club hotel and we could see the stage from our balcony. We watched Calvin Harris, BBC Radio 1 Dance Live and Kygo over the three days we were there.
For every evening, there was a different theme. The stage was changed and for Kygo we were given glowing wristbands and the atmosphere is something I can't describe. Almost a cross between a festival and night club.
Be warned though, it's £20 for a beer in the arena. So best to pre-drink or take the cups down from your room. They will cost you €22 for 10 cups but they are the same as what the bars give out. So worth the investment.
Also, the maxi bar in the room is a great idea but at €4.5 for an expresso and €7 for water, I think was a bit extreme and unnecessary, considering you do not get free tea and coffee in your room.
The unexpected breakfast is worth going down to. Honestly, I've never seen anything quite like it. Kebabs to canapés, and everything in between.
The staff at the hotel were equality amazing, always helpful and always on hand to make you feel like an absolute rock star.
The bottom line is, I will be definitely returning in the near future.
